Hi indie gamers, today I bring you some of my most beloved games, Story Driven games, that means a game where the plot is the most important aspect, and also has a pixel art style, huh best of two worlds huh?
Here you’ll find point and click adventure games mostly, like Unavowed a scifi adventure game combining demons, ghost in one of the best adventure games I’ve ever played.
If you want RPGs we have RPGs, check CrossCode out, a game where maybe the main focus isn’t the story but that’s because it’s gameplay is so good, an action RPG where we play inside a massive RPG game and we play as an avatar of a character that lost all memories, it’s a really great story trust me.
So let’s kick off the list, with a point and click adventure game in a not so distant future, The Red Strings Club.

  1. Some of these games will have a part 2 soon, ike Coffee Talk and Do Not Feed the Monkeys

  2. Everyone on the internet creams themselves at the thought of CrossCode but nobody ever mentions that it’s not a JRPG, it’s a twin-stick shooter. And all of the chest are found from just following a jumping route.

  3. I have a lot of favourites in this one but I have to mention another one tho. The Last Door, the first game of The Game Kitchen, team behind Blasphemous. A point and click horror adventure, inspired by Lovecraft and the philosophy of Schopenhauer. It's truly a gem.
And another who came in this winter, "If on a Winter night, Four travelers", inspired by Italo Calvino's novels. It's a short adventure but it's free. Sublime pixel art, can't believe it's free.

  4. I'm glad all of these games are the switch. Hopefully indie devs keep that momentum up.

  5. Lamplight city looks cool. Might check it out

  6. I was gonna riot if Undertale wasn't on this list lmao

  7. You should play OMORI it has a really good story. Played it a month ago still depressed to this day.

  8. Here’s and pretty underrated one:

Eastward. Amazing graphics, beautiful score, and charming characters. The ending got me in tears.

  9. i was expecting Katana zero to be here, unfortunately it isn't but still great collection of video games
